“Primal Chaos”, the upcoming release from Sweden’s thrashy dark metallers Morgana Lefay, has been renamed. The new album title is “Aberrations of the Mind”, in which the band feels better suits the feel of the record as a whole. Set to be released on March 19th, 2007 on Black Mark, the band promises “a new level of aggression while still maintaining the traditional Morgana Lefay sound”. The album will also feature the debut of the band’s new skinbasher, Pelle Ĺkerlind (Bloodbound, Lednote). Two sample tracks, The Rush of Possession and Reflections of War, have been posted on the band’s website, www.morganalefay.se. Also posted on the homepage is a variety of songs from every release under both the band’s monikers – Morgana Lefay and Lefay. Artwork for the new album will soon be released on the site as well, but will be released piece by piece, as if part of a puzzle, to keep the fans guessing.
